Maybe I should have seen it coming, maybe I should have noticed the warning signs. Maybe she saw me as week and easily manipulated. Maybe she saw she could get me to do what she wanted with just a little guilt trip. What started out as 'It's my house', 'I'm the guest' gradually turned to 'we always do what you wanna do.' 'You're a bad friend'

When hormones got involved in our fandoms of choice and what not I found that I couldn't bend to relieve the guilt. We just don't like the same stuff anymore. Plain and simple.

Thing are changing and I guess I should have seen this coming.

Being fucking ignored.

I told my mom I didn't want to go to a doctor in town because from what I've heard they're all incompetent. I've been having stabbing pains in my side since December off and on- ever since friday I've had a dull pain in my lower back that won't go away so I decided to break down and see a doctor. On the condition it wasn't a doctor in town. She's the one that's been nagging me about going to a doctor, after all.

Mom called the doctor today to set up an appointment for July 29th. That's great. Awesome. Another two weeks at least with stabbing pains in my side and time for it to get worse. Just what I needed.

And then she tells me it's with Dr. Johnson. A MALE Doctor in TOWN.

I mentioned that I said I didn't want to go to a doctor in town and she responds with 'Oh but Aunt Lousie thinks he's so great. I. do. not. care. what my aunt says. These are the same people that MISSED the infection she went in for THREE MONTHS AGO. and told her it was nothing. Same fucking hospital that MISSED my Grandma's CANCER. And guess what? Grandma died of that cancer.

I don't want to go in only to have them tell me it's nothing when I'm pretty damn sure it shouldn't hurt to touch my sides, it shouldn't feel slightly swollen, I shouldn't have stabbing pains, and I sure as hell shouldn't feel sick after poking my sides.

If that weren't bad enough Mom is going to make me get a papsmere. First one. ever. and I have a fucking MALE Doctor. I'm too fucking modest for that shit.


But hey. I don't have insurance. Mom and Dad have to pay for this doctor trip so whatever. I guess I don't get a say in where I go.
